Almond Pound Cake

Ingredients (4-6 servings)

  • 4 eggs
  • 1.5 cup of flour
  • 0.5 cup of butter
  • 1/3 cup of m&lou’s amlu
  • 1 pack baking powder
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  • A pinch of salt


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Beat the eggs and m&lou’s amlu together to obtain a uniform mixture
  3. Add the melted butter, flour, baking powder and salt, then stir
  4. Butter and flour a cake mold
  5. Pour your mix in the mold
  6. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F, and then 20 minutes at 350°F
  7. Once ready, feel free to add some amlu on top of the cake, or to decorate with almonds
